Samsung Galaxy Tab Now Available With Verizon Wireless
Coming shortly after the T-Mobile release, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is now available for purchase with Verizon Wireless. That of course leaves AT&T, US Cellular and Sprint to go. Of which we know that the Sprint release will take place on November 14.

As of now a release date has not been mentioned for US Cellular or AT&T, though there are some rumors of a November 21st launch with AT&T. Time will tell how accurate that will end up being and for now those in the US who are interested in picking up a Galaxy Tab now have two options to consider — Verizon and T-Mobile.
In terms of making the purchase with Verizon, there is just one option available — purchase the device flat-out and contract free for $599.99. Otherwise, best we can see from reading the fine print, the $35 activation fee will still apply upon activating your Galaxy Tab with a data plan. And speaking of data plans, Verizon will have a few options available with prices beginning at $20 per month for 1GB of data and going up to $80 per month for 10GB of data.
And just like that, those shopping with Verizon now have an option between the Apple iPad and the Samsung Galaxy Tab in terms of tablets. Interestingly enough, both have the same data plans available which means users are truly choosing between iOS and Android. But operating system aside, I can see a big plus in either case. In terms of the Galaxy Tab, this has built-in 3G which means one device and one battery to keep charged. In terms of the Apple iPad, this is the iPad and a MiFi which means two devices and two batteries to keep charged. Of course, the positive side of the iPad set-up is that you can use the MiFi with other devices as well which makes the 3G connectivity that much more useful.
