Kinect Open Source Camera Driver Released Into A Sean Penn Movie
Remember a short while ago, when you heard the Kinect had been hacked and you sprayed your prune juice all over your monitor? Why prune juice? Why not, prune juice is awesome, we love prune juice. And if you’re just now about to drink some more, face away from your monitor, because somebody just rocked the Kinect’s digital virginity off again. Yeah. What, not impressed?

Well, this time it’s apparently only one guy, not a team like last time (a team who are now working on a Kinect SDK but still) and he also released his creation on the dew-laden pastures of the Intertubes. And lo, where now it barely displays the RGB and depth-sensing camera feeds, we’re pretty sure every person out there that’s up to the task of coding something that will allow you to post thermal videos of your cat’s skeleton is over this like Microsoft lawyers on this guy’s website. Download’s via the via link, should you be feeling adventurous.
