BLACK FRIDAY: Staples Shows Three Black Friday Doorbusters

I know, I know…it’s not exactly easy to coax yourself out of bed at oh-dark thirty in the morning to go stand in line in the freezing cold with a whole bunch of bargain-crazed shoppers, but if you’re looking for new hardware, this is the time to buy. And word has emerged, bare hours ago, on a set of three doorbuster deals out at Staples.

You’re probably looking at me skeptically and thinking: Staples is an office supply store. What possible goodies can an office supply store have for me, the sophisticated hardware junkie? Simple, my good friend–computers. And cameras. Both valuable professional supplies that also happen to satisfy your need for new and awesome tech.

There are three such doorbuster deals set to hit the shelves at Staples: show up by six AM local time to get your hands on an HP laptop packing Windows 7 for $299.98, an HP 20 inch widescreen LCD monitor for $99.98, and a Kodak EasyShare MD30 camera for $70.

Further word suggests that there will be further discounting going on all over the store with prices cut almost in half on “a wide selection of essentials, all day”.

The down side here is that we don’t have a whole lot of specs on the offered items, though chances are they’ll be at least recent stuff (doubly so since they’re set to run Windows 7), so no worrying that Staples dragged some old Pentium 2 laptops out of storage and slapped a $299.98 price tag on them. We also know plenty about the Kodak EasyShare MD30, a 12.1 megapixel camera that offers 3x optical zoom, one touch sharing among a variety of social networking websites, and a 2.7 inch display.

So on Thanksgiving, you may want to consider going easy on the turkey and stuffing that day, so you can be reasonably wide awake and somewhat ready to go tackle a Black Friday deal or two.
