If you though the rumor mill about Apple’s iOS 4.2 couldn’t get any hotter you would be wrong. While we do know that the iOS 4.2 has been sent to developers in the Golden Master version and we know this means that the newest iOS will be released soon we haven’t been able to pinpoint exactly when.
There were rumors that the iOS 4.2 might be released on November 7th, just in time for Daylight Savings time to be over. The new release hasn’t come yet and new rumors coming out of Germany are pointing to either November 9th or November 12th.
One German blog, after talking to a Dutch wireless carrier says it was told that Apple would be rolling out the launch tomorrow, November 9th. Another German website posits that there is going to be some carrier updates on Friday, November 12th and that it would only make sense to roll out iOS 4.2 with them. Apple is staying tight lipped as to when the release will be so it is still left to the bloggers to try and piece the clues together.
