HTC HD7 Pre-Orders At Walmart Website
When you think of places having the latest cutting edge smartphones, you may not think of checking Walmart’s website. But, you’d find the HTC HD7 there. The American gigantic retailer has added the T-Mobile Windows Phone 7 device there for a discounted $149.99 – and that of course includes a new two-year contract.

That $150 price ties it with third-party retailer Wirefly, decisively less than the T-Mobile and Amazon prices. It’s being offered through Walmart’s Walmart Wireless division, offered on their website. No word from the retailer if this deal will also be offered at their in-store wireless kiosks.
Here’s a recap of the specs that the HD7 is offering:
- Windows Phone 7
- 1GHz processor
- 576MB RAM, 512MB ROM, 8GB storage
- 4.3-inch Super LCD screen
The release date for the phone in the United States is November 8th, and it’s already been released in Asia and Europe. Remember that regular two-year contract price for this device is $200, so you are getting a small deal by ordering from Walmart, if you’re willing to go with Walmart Wireless.
And don’t forget, Wirefly is also selling it for $150, if you’d feel more comfortable ordering from them than Walmart Wireless (not that we’ve ever heard of any issues with Walmart Wireless).
