Pre-order T-Mobile Samung Galaxy Tab Android Tablet on Amazon for $699.99 [Amazon Opens Up T-Mobile Galaxy Tab Pre-order Process; Offers Unsubsidized Tablet Alone]
Today’s the last day of October which some like to refer to as Halloween. But besides trick or treating, you might be interested in a different activity for today which is pre-ordering your first Samsung Android tablet, the Galaxy Tab (T-Mobile version) from Amazon.

The Galaxy Tab will be launched in the U.S. in the following days with T-Mobile being the first carrier to launch the device on November 10, that’s if AT&T doesn’t decide to announce an earlier Tab launch date, of course. Verizon and Sprint also choose their release dates for the tablet, November 11 and November 14, respectively so it’s just AT&T that has to tell us when its Galaxy Tab will be available in stores. Besides the Big Four, U.S. Cellular is also going to sell the Galaxy Tab at some point in time for Christmas shopping.
Amazon is currently selling only the T-Mobile version of the tablet and you get to pre-order it right away for $699. That’s the unsubsidized device, so if you were going to purchase the tablet from T-Mobile anyway then why not pre-order yours now from Amazon? Amazon says that “the item will be released on November 9, 2010” although the official T-Mobile launch date for the Tab is November 10.
The subsidized version of the T-Mobile Galaxy Tab is not available from Amazon right now so it requires some extra waiting. In case you want to pre-order a subsidized Galaxy Tab Android tablet then that’s something you can do over at Sprint, but make sure you compare all carriers’ data plan prices for tablets before you choose your cheaper Tab.
What we don’t advise you to buy is the CrystalRoc Galaxy Tab version that will set you back a few extra dollars since it comes with 5,700 embedded Swarovsky Crystals on board.
