George W. Bush’s iPad Is For Scrabble [Former US President Loves His iPad, Uses It For News And Scrabble, According To Former First Lady]
Former President George W. Bush got a lot of flak while in office for a lot of things. But, one of those things was that he was perceived by the tech blog echo chamber has not being very technically advanced, for example, his secretaries would print his e-mails out and read them to him, as opposed to the President checking his own e-mail. But, now former First Lady Laura Bush says that the former President has gotten his hands on an iPad and he’s “addicted” to it.

Talking to Yahoo! News, Laura Bush told them that it is “hard to get [the former president]” away from his iPad. The former President, who now lives in the Dallas, Texas area with his wife, enjoys the Wall Street Journal app, and is said to read the paper every morning. His other favorite app is Scrabble!
We at TFTS would like to suggest the MLB At-Bat app for the former President. The former President, who used to own the Texas Rangers baseball team still remains a strong fan of the team. As you may know, they’re in the World Series at the moment and TV cameras have spotted the 43rd President of the United States in the seats a numbers (usually in the front row…).
Politics aside, the tech blog community seems to be much more sympathetic to current President Barack Obama, whose campaign reportedly used all Macs (and was shocked when they got to the White House and found it was all circa-2000 Dells running Windows 98, so the story goes) and the President himself is even a BlackBerry fan, though he and his “friends” (if you can call those who work with the President that) have heavy restrictions on how it can be used.
