Verizon Wireless Rebate Form Confirms Samsung Continuum & Shows Droid 2 Global With Two SKU's

Verizon Wireless Rebate Form Reveals Pre 2 Will Come With $100 Rebate & A Mystery Device Dubbed The Samsung Zeal

For better or worse, rebates are often part of the game when buying a mobile phone. And while many complain, they are often better than the alternative — paying more money. That said, those rebate forms, well sometimes they reveal little tidbits of information.

Enter the latest rebate form from Verizon which is showing some phones that are expected, and some that we knew are coming but have not been released yet and some that are totally unknown. Lets break this down a little bit. Some of the expected models include the ones that have been around for a while such as the Droid X, Droid R2-D2 and the Motorola Devour. Nothing shocking with those.

Moving on though and we also see the Palm Pre 2, which as we noted earlier should be arriving fairly soon. The Pre 2, that is going to have a $100 rebate. But again, we knew that was coming and as a new handset, a $100 rebate is fairly common. Then there is the case of the Samsung Continuum, which we have already seen in the wild with Verizon branding, but according to this, it will come sporting a $100 rebate. Of course, that just adds to the speculation that the Continuum will be officially unveiled by Samsung on the 8th and then available with Verizon on the 11th.

And then we have the case of the Droid 2 Global, which is listed with not one, but two Sku numbers. Could this be a case of the Droid 2 Global with camera and a Droid 2 Global without camera as opposed to the earlier rumors of the Droid Pro coming camera-free. Time will tell.

Lastly, that mystery device — the Samsung Zeal. This one is shown as coming with a $50 rebate, but otherwise we are unsure what it will be. Maybe something Android flavored. Granted with only a $50 rebate it would most likely be a low-end device.
