Computer monitor company Troll Touch has announced that it is about to launch a new line of 27 inch touchscreen monitors. The company has announced that users can buy the monitors new or can send existing monitors to the company who will replace the front glass with an analog resistive panel.

The new Troll Touch screen is being priced at $2,499 while the “slipcover” screen which will be user installable will cost somewhere around $1,099. In addition the slipcover will be able to be removed whenever the user does not want to use the touchscreen function. In addition users who have a regular 27 inch display but want it converted fully to a touchscreen can mail it to Troll Touch where they will make the changeover for a price of $1,499.

While the 27 inch display is new, Troll Touch already offer several Apple and Dell touchscreen monitors in addition to iMacs and Macbooks.
