U.S. Cellular Samsung Galaxy Tab Undisclosed Release Date & Undisclosed Price Made Official [U.S. Cellular Announces the Samsung Galaxy Tab Android Tablet; Doesn’t Say Anything About Launch Dates & Prices]
U.S. customers can purchase the Samsung Galaxy S smartphone from five carriers and it looks like the Samsung Galaxy Tab, Samsung’s first Android 2.2 Froyo tablet will be available from the same five mobile operators.

The Samsung Galaxy S is sold as the Captivate, Vibrant, Epic 4G, Fascinate and Mesmerize by AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon and U.S. Cellular, respectively. The Galaxy Tab will not have a special name on each of these five carriers, but the good news is that you have plenty of freedom when it comes to choosing your Tab carrier.
Following Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile, the three carriers that announced the Galaxy Tab so far, U.S. Cellular came out with an official press release to announce its intentions of selling the tablet, but no actual release dates or pricing details have been shared with the crowds.
U.S. Cellular insists on the specs and features of the device but fails to tell us when the Galaxy Tab will be available and how much it will cost. Considering that everyone else, but for AT&T, whom we’re still waiting to announce Tab details, will launch the Android tablet in November, we can easily assume U.S. Cellular will also have it in stores by Christmas. The price is also probably similar to what everyone else is going to ask for the device.
And since U.S. Cellular insists on specs and features, here they are, again, just so it helps you decide whether you should or shouldn’t purchase the device:
