New MySpace Revamp Aimed At Narrowing Focus Of Site

MySpace Will Focus On Entertainment Genre Instead Of Trying To Compete With Facebook

Tired of trying to keep its diminishing user base and unable to draw new users away from titans like Facebook and Twitter; MySpace has re-launched itself. The ‘New MySpace’ will take a bent towards the entertainment industry, fully aware it needs to attract a younger clientele.

MySpace was once considered a genius invention and a pioneer in the field of social networking. Just a few short years ago it was MySpace and not Facebook that was king of the hill among people who wished to reconnect with old friends and make new acquaintances through the web. Now the CEO of MySpace says that the re-launch will pull the company out of the social networking category and create a brand new social entertainment genre.

MySpace has always had an entertainment feel to the site but it hopes the re-launch will allow it to become the site where people go to when researching new bands or artists, or get the latest buzz on their favorite actors.
