HTC HD7 On T-Mobile Being Presold Via HTC

Manufacturer Now Selling The HD7 Themselves, No Price Breaks, $149.99 With Two-Year Contract, $549.99 Contract Free

T-Mobile’s anticipated 4.3-inch Windows Phone 7 device, the HTC HD7, has already gone up for presale on Wirefly and Amazon. You know where else you can get it? Try the manufacturer. HTC themselves is now selling the phone via their online store, but don’t expect any discounts. HTC is hocking the phone for the regular T-Mobile pricing.

We’re being told that the prices that HTC is asking are the same that Wirefly is asking for the phone. The prices are these:

  • $149.99 with a new two-year contract
  • $399.99 on an upgrade with a contact extension
  • $549.99 contract-free

That $149 price isn’t bad, honestly, for what you’d expect from a top-tier smartphone. As you can see from the screenshot of the store listing, they’re saying it’s shipping on October 31st, which is clearly before the November 8th release date. Without knowing HTC’s shipping practices, you may very clearly get it before November 8th. That’s a win for any Windows Phone 7 fanatic!

Just to recap the specs of the HTC HD7, it’s basically the WP7 variant of the HD2/EVO 4G:

  • Windows Phone  7 (duh)
  • 4.3-inch screen
  • 1GHz processor
  • 512MB ROM
  • 448MB RAM
  • 8GB storage
  • 5MP camera

As mentioned, it’s officially coming November 6th from T-Mobile for the United States. Those outside of the United States can already get it from a number of carriers.
