Vimeo Adds Full Screen Couch Mode Viewing Capabilities
With the recent explosion of televisions that can browse the internet, either by themselves or with the help of gadgets such as Apple or Google TV; it is no wonder that several websites like Vimeo have to adapt the way they present their content. Hot on the heels of YouTube adding a “Lean Back” mode, Vimeo has launched the “Couch Mode”.

The Couch Mode is basically a full screen mode that goes wider than the usual computer screen without losing the clarity of picture people want when they are watching videos while sitting one their living room couch. The Vimeo Couch Mode has also got new features like a “More Info” screen and something that is sure to gain big time popularity in a “Watch Later” queue.
While the Vimeo Couch Mode is currently only support in Safari and Chrome browsers, support for several other browsers are expected in the near future.
