Razer’s Anansi Keyboard Made For MMO [The Razer Anansi Keyboard Packs Loads of Extra Features For the MMO Gamer]
It’s always kind of a treat, at least for me, to see what kind of new product Razer will wheel out next. I’ve seen them do strange things with button layout, with color schemes, and most everything in between. But now I take a look at their newest announcement, the Razer Anansi.

The biggest thing about the Razer Anansi is that it actually executes fully seven times the commands of that standard keyboard you’re using by way of seven different thumb modifier keys directly under the keyboard. The thumb modifier keys in turn allow you to quickly hit those keys that you’re constantly hitting when you’re gaming, like the Alt, Control, and Shift keys. Even more, there are several programmable keys that boast 100 different options and each of those with Hyperesponse technology.
What’s more, you’ll also have the option to save as many as 20 different gaming profiles here, and switch between them at any time using just one button. So now when you’re getting pasted in one game, getting sick of it, and deciding you want to play a different game instead, you can switch on the fly and never have to switch your profile along with it.
To top it all off, you even get a set of dedicated multimedia buttons for when you’re actually sick of gaming and, say, want to just watch a movie instead, and, if you’d rather just stare at the keyboard for a while, you’ll get a show there too as the keyboard itself is backlit by fully 18 million different colors.
You’ll be able to get your hands on this monument to sedentary living this December (just in time for holiday shopping, no less!) and you’ll have to shell out $100 to lay hands on one of these. Of course, considering the sheer number of options that you’ll get along with it, that’s not exactly an outlandish price.
