Green Cart Deli has recently launched in Conway, AR, with its eco-friendly ambulant food carts. For those who are having the munchies early during working hours, you can get an update of where Green Cart Deli carts will be each morning through Twitter and Facebook.

Green Cart Deli serves a variety of food items, like Sabrett frankfurters, Wickles pickles, coleslaw, pepper rings, okra and green pepper strips, and your usual variety of cart foods. Of course, they also sell drinks, snacks and desserts. What’s even better is that Green Cart Deli’s facilities are eco-friendly.

Each cart uses solar power for its energy needs. Most of the utensils, bowls and straws are made from soya and cornstarch-derived products, which are fully biodegradable or compostable. Even the takeout bags are eco-friendly.

Founder Brad Kossover wants to make a statement–it’s not that difficult to run a business while being eco-friendly. He even challenges bigger establishments like restaurants to try to become more ecologically friendly, even through simple means.

Every morning, Green Cart Deli announces its locations on its Facebook and Twitter accounts. The cart opens to serve patrons at 11 a.m. each day.
