BlackBerry Bold 9780 Coming To T-Mobile November 17th

T-Mobile Announces The BlackBerry 6 Equipped Bold 9780, Priced From $129.99 & Available November 17th

T-Mobile has followed (as expected) the earlier announcement from RIM, the news, they will have the BlackBerry Bold 9780 available beginning on November 17th. Not to mention, it looks like those previous rumors were spot on in terms of the release date. Moving on though, the nice part here is that this will be the first in the Bold device lineup to ship with Blackberry 6.

Of course, T-Mobile also has another perk for the Bold 9780 which will arrive in the form of support for Wi-Fi calling. And while we have already seen many of the specs for the device with the announcement from RIM — we now have a price. T-Mobile will have the Bold 9780 priced at $129.99, which comes along with a $35 activation fee and AFTER a $50 mail in rebate. In addition, it comes along with the standard two year agreement. And ultimately that means agreement means should you decide to cancel early you will be paying “up to” a $200 cancellation fee.

With that, while the addition of BlackBerry 6 and the Wi-Fi calling are both nice, the looks are what we have come to expect for a Bold. Other features include the 2.4 inch display with 480×360 pixel resolution, 512MB internal storage, 2GB microSD card, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack and 5 megapixel camera. Other details in terms of the camera include an LED flash, digital zoom and auto-focus as well as geo-tagging and video recording.

As for T-Mobile, it looks like they are taking advantage of the new features, updates and enhancements that are found in BlackBerry 6 and touting the handset as being “faster, better, and even simpler in six beautiful ways.” And for those wondering, those six ways include being socially available, built to browse and multimedia hungry as well as having universal search, a simple setup and an intuitive design.
