Verizon's Galaxy Tab Will Not Have Some Important Apps At Launch

Verizon Galaxy Tab Will Not Have V-Cast, NFL Mobile Or Skype At Launch

The anticipation for the arrival of the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab has been building since the announcement that it would be hitting stores next month. That anticipation might be a bit muted today as it has been discovered that the new Verizon Tablet will not have some pretty important apps included when it launches.

Training papers for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab has shown that the company is not going to be able to offer NFL Mobile, Skype or V-Cast when the product hits stores in mid-November. The loss of Skype is especially troubling since the tablet itself will not offer voice dialing despite it being offered by a cell phone carrier. The lack of NFL Mobile is also a blow as this would have been a significant feature that would have set it apart from other tablets right as the NFL season heats up.

There is no word on whether the apps are gone for good or simply delayed.
