Sony's PSP Go Price Cut Not Going To Cut It, Say Analysts

Sony Dropped PSP Go Price "Too Late" According To Analysts

If there’s something we love, it’s careful analysis from astute and knowledgeable industry analysts. However, since “astute and knowledgeable industry analysts” is pretty much an oxymoron, we have to make do with some of the guys who talked to Eurogamer about the new PSP Go price cut. Here’s just a small sample of the kind of insight people who get paid to do this provide:

“Sony’s fifty US dollar price cut on the PSPgo is too meagre and too late,” according to M2 Research’s Billy Pidgeon. Billy Pidgeon sure was wearing the clever tiara that time. You have to get up pretty early in the morning to out-obvious Billy Pidgeon, yes sirree. And it’s not an industry analyst slumber party if nobody invites playboy millionaire and June 1985 Playgirl centerfold, analyst Michael Pachter. “I think that the sales levels speak for themselves”. And we think that that quote right there is why Michael Pachter is Michael Pachter and you’re not.
