PBS App Comes to the iPad
The Public Broadcasting System (PBS) is looking to bring a little culture to the iPad. The PBS iPad app has arrived on the iPad and has brought a ton of completely free streaming video with it. While there are plenty of current popular PBS shows like Antiques Roadshow and Frontline, users can also check out some classic Julia Child.

The PBS app offers up more shows than most users will ever be able to watch with clips showing some of the best recipes by Julia Child to one of the more anticipated new Masterpiece features in Sherlock Holmes this publicly funded network is offering a ton of content. There is however one drawback in that most of the content built for kids is not included (at least not yet).
For right now the app is only available on the iPad, but there is a promised launch for slightly revised apps for both the iPhone and the iPod Touch.
