Sprint Samsung Galaxy Tab Coming November 14th With Pre-Orders Available Today

Sprint Undercuts Verizon Wireless, Announces Galaxy Tab For $399 On A Two-Year Agreement

Another US carrier has officially come forward with their Samsung Galaxy Tab plans. These latest details are coming by way of Sprint, who have not only followed Verizon, but come with what some will consider a better offer. Of course, the better really comes down to not only preference but also which network is better in the area where you live, work or play. That aside though, back to the task at hand — Sprint and the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

In short, the Galaxy Tab will be available with Sprint on November 14th, though you are able to place a pre-order beginning today. The price of the tablet is going to be $399.99 and that comes with a two year agreement. Those looking to move forward with a pre-order will need to purchase a $50 Sprint Gift Card in a retail store.

As for the plans that will be required for the two year agreement, there will be two to choose from — a $29.99 option and a $59.99 option. Both plans include unlimited messaging and the $29.99 includes 2GB of data while the $59.99 includes 5GB of data.

As far as Sprint goes, that about covers the details. Of course, this still leaves AT&T and T-Mobile here in the US. It should be interesting to see what they are both offering. If nothing else, at least customers now have the option to pay $599 and go contract free with Verizon or spend less up front and go with Sprint.

Otherwise, the Sprint branded Galaxy Tab will also come with the standard apps such as the Samsung Media Hub and Samsung Social Hub as well as some of the Sprint branded services such as Sprint Football Live, NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile and Sprint Zone. In addition, there will also be the option to add on support for the Sprint Mobile Hotspot as well as Sprint Navigation.
