Angry Birds Halloween for iPhone & iPad Available in the App Store

Rovio Launches New, Paid Angry Birds Halloween App for iOS Devices Only; Android Left Out This Time

Angry Birds is not only one of the most popular games in the App Store, available for instant gaming action on the iPhone, the iPad and the iPod touch, but, as of recently, it’s one of the most popular Android games available in the Android Market with over 2 million downloads after only a couple of days since launch.

But there are some differences between Angry Birds for iOS devices and Angry Birds for Android. First of all the iOS applications are going to cost you from $0.99 to $4.99 depending on your iOS device while the Android version is currently available free of charge, but filled with ads to bring in some cash for Rovio (or should I say EA?)

The other, most important difference, is that iPhone, iPad and iPod touch owners are going to be happy this Halloween. No, there’s no special Angry Birds update for you, there’s something even better: Angry Birds Halloween, a whole new game.

Angry Birds Halloween is a special edition of pigs-smashing, fortification-destroying, fast-paced bird-flying action. Maybe I make this game sound too good than it actually is, but I have definitely played through and through Angry Birds and will grab this $0.99 ($1.99 for iPad) puzzle/strategy game version in an instant.

Angry Birds Halloween will come with a bunch of new levels and features:

  • Hundreds of pigs, pumpkins and plump, pulverizing birds!
  • 45 daunting levels of pig and pumpkin-smashing action!
  • A Fearsome Tale of a Golden Egg… of Terror!

Besides that you can expect a leaderboard, achievements, Facebook and Twitter integration, and lots of pig killing. In fact, make sure you smash all pumpkins as I am told that’s where those egg-snatching bastards are hiding.

And don’t let me hear you didn’t get three stars on all the 45 levels. In case that happens you’ll just have to start playing it again. Here’s the official trailer of Angry Birds Halloween which you might find motivational:
