Back To The Mac: Live Streaming for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch & Mac
Apple’s Back To The Mac event, which we will thoroughly cover as it happens, will be streamed live by Cupertino, just like the company did with the previous iPod-centered media event back in September.

But Apple decided not to change everything, again, when it comes to who will be actually able to watch the whole thing. Live streaming will be restricted to Apple product owners. In order to take watch the whole keynote live, you’ll need a Mac running Safari on Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard or an iPhone, iPod touch on iOS 3.0 or higher or an iPad. Live Video Streaming
Apple® will broadcast its October 20 event online using Apple’s industry-leading HTTP Live Streaming, which is based on open standards. Viewing requires either a Mac® running Safari® on Mac OS® X version 10.6 Snow Leopard®, an iPhone® or iPod touch® running iOS 3.0 or higher, or an iPad™. The live broadcast will begin at 10:00 a.m. PDT on October 20, 2010 at www.apple.com/uk.
