Xbox 360 to Get Fallout: New Vegas DLC First

Bethesda in Press Release: First New Vegas DLC Will Be 'Exclusive' to Xbox 360

Bethesda Softworks stated in a press release earlier today that the first round of DLC for Fallout: New Vegas will be a 360 exclusive, to dismay of many gamers who plan to play the title on their PS3 or PC. The first in what in probably be a series of DLC for New Vegas is set to be released “this holiday season,” as quoted from the press release.

Of course, this just adds to the list of people who just aren’t too happy with Obsidian and their publisher Bethesda – but may I pause for a moment to play devil’s advocate? How many people knew this was coming? The same exact thing happened with Oblivion and Fallout 3 (of course, Oblivion was released on the 360 before the PS3 was even around).

Besides, buck up all of you PS3 and PC owners – in this age of ever-dwindling console exclusives, this DLC isn’t likely to stay exclusive to the 360 for long. Regardless, I’m still picking up this bad boy at midnight.
