Check Out Acer's Line of Pastel Netbooks
If you’ve ever looked with disdain at your black or gray netbook and longed for an ultra-portable computer that looked great with that one special top or outfit, then you’ll be terribly happy to hear about the Acer Aspire One Happy line of netbooks. Why? Simple–pastel coloring.
Yes, fancy colored netbooks aren’t just for people who can afford to drop a load of cash with the crew out at Colorware any more–now Acer’s going to offer you your choice of four interesting colors, as pictured above. Your choices? Candy Pink, Lavender Purple, Lime Green and Hawaii Blue.
But don’t just think it’s all about the color scheme here–no sir or ma’am as the case may be. You’ll also get a 10.1 inch screen, Android 2.1 (with the dual-boot option to go to Windows 7 starter edition!), your choice of an Intel Atom N550 or N540 processor, either one or two gigs of DDR RAM, a 250 gig hard drive, Intel 3150 GMA graphics, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, webcam and microphone, three in one card reader, and a keyboard that’s almost full-size.
And how much do you shell out for this functional fashion statement? Try $397 for the lower end model. Not half bad, I’d say, especially if you’re into a variety of colors with your netbook.
