T-Mobile Gets Official With the HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7 Smartphone, Coming Mid-November
T-Mobile has jumped right into the Windows Phone 7 announcements this morning with a large displayed smartphone. The model is the HTC HD7 and it will arrive sporting a 4.3 inch display. As for when, that is still a little bit away, sometime in mid-November.

Yup, unfortunately the announcement date was left fairly generic. But at the same time that generic time frame was better than the word on the price. Or should I say the lack of word on the price. Otherwise, the HTC HD7 will be an exclusive T-Mobile offering here in the US, though it will be available with a few carriers over in Europe.
In terms of specs, there is quite a bit to mention both in terms of hardware and software. Lets begin with the hardware. The HTC HD7 will feature the 4.3 inch (480 x 800) display, which is billed as the “largest screen available on a Windows Phone in the U.S.” Other specs include a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 512MB ROM, 576MB RAM, 8GB or 16GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, 3.5mm headphone jack, microUSB and 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and 720p HD video recording. In addition you can also expect to find a 1230 mAh battery, G-Sensor, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and Dolby Mobile with SRS surround sound.
As for size, the HTC HD7 measures in at 4.8 x 2.68 x 0.44 inches with a weight of 5.7 ounces. And now onto the software, which we already know is Windows Phone 7. But in addition there is also other goodies to include a Netflix app and Slacker Radio app as well as support for the Zune and Xbox Live. As for T-Mobile services, expect to find T-Mobile TV which offers live and on-demand content from ABC News NOW, FOX Sports, PBS Kids, Azteca America, family holiday movie favorites and more.
Once again, the HTC HD7 will be available with T-Mobile sometime in mid-November for a yet to be announced price.

I knew when I saw the HD2 hardware it was going to end up under every platform under the sun. It’s just too sexy to keep bottled up under WM6.5.
