Gateway One ZX4951 & ZX6951 All-In-One Desktop PC's Announced
Gateway has recently announced two new computers, both are in the ZX One Series and come as the ZX4951 and the ZX6951. They are sporting 21.5 and 23 inch displays and are both all-in-one models.

And nicely, these new all-in-one ZX One Series models come with a reasonable starting price of $899.99 for the ZX4951 and $999.99 for the ZX6951. Though, it should go without saying, that price will rise depending on configuration.
In terms of features, lets start with the lower priced of the two — the ZX4951 Series model. This comes equipped with a 2.8GHz Intel Pentium G6950 processor, 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 500GB hard drive , Blu-ray optical drive, Intel HD graphics and a 21.5 inch multi-touch capable display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution.
The ZX6951 Series model is sporting a 2.3GHz Intel Core i3-550 processor, 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 640GB hard drive, Blu-ray optical drive, Intel HD graphics and a 23 inch multi-touch capable display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The ZX6951 also comes with a Hybrid TV Tuner with one port and a remote control.
And to take advantage of the multi-touch display, Gateway has included their TouchPortal software. Otherwise, as for overall size, both the the ZX4951 and ZX6951 measure in at 17.37 (H) x 6.43 (W) x 21.93 (D) inches.
Both models ship with Windows 7 Home Premium and also include other goodies such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, eight USB 2.0 ports, VGA-out, 5.1 channel audio with a pair of 5w stereo speakers, Ethernet, media card reader, 2.0 megapixel camera and ship with a wireless keyboard and wireless optical mouse.
All said and done, a decent looking design with decent specs and a fairly reasonable starting price tag. Personally the ZX6951 with 23 inch display and integrated TV tuner seems like a good deal for someone looking to combine their television and computer into one device and save some desktop space.
With that, it does seem like making the purchase will be the hardest part because as of now neither are available online and are instead available by way of “leading retailers nationwide.”
