Jabra Go 660 Bluetooth Headset Announced
It looks like it is the season for Bluetooth headsets. Yesterday we saw a few from Motorola including the Oasis and today we have one from Jabra. This model is the Go 660 and is available as of today for those willing to shell out $110.

“The Jabra GO 660 is the first Bluetooth® headset with Noise Blackout™ Extreme, which eliminates background noise without compromising voice quality. And with the Jabra LINK™ 320 USB Bluetooth® adapter, it simultaneously connects to a personal computer and mobile phone, so your customers need just one headset. Jabra GO 660 is NOW AVAILABLE.”
In terms of the Jabra Go 660, this model comes touting Noise Blackout Extreme, which is said to eliminate “background noise without compromising voice quality.” That aside, some of the other listed features include “intelligent” volume control, plug and play support, a range of 10m, up to 5.5 hours of talk time, up to 10.5 days on standby and “all-day comfort” courtesy of “Ultimate fit Eargel.”
As for the headset itself, the Jabra Go 660 ships with a USB charger, car charger, a small and large sized ear hook and three sets of Ultimate-fit eargels in various sizes.
Otherwise, the Jabra Go 660 Bluetooth headset also has an available accessory called the Jabra Link 320 which will allow the user to connect their headset to their computer for use with softphones. And nicely done, the Jabra Go 660 Bluetooth headset can pair with your mobile phone as well as the Link 320 at the same time.
With that, and while I have had good experience with Jabra headsets in the past I cannot help but feel there are less expensive (and still quality) alternatives available today. After all, the Motorola Oasis looks fairly nice, though a different style, and still comes in with a $80 price tag. Personally I have long used Jawbone products as my go-to headset.
