Apple Developing New Touch-and-Zoom Technology
If rumors persist, we may just see the Apple iPhone sporting another improved feature as far as its image capturing ability is concerned. This has something to do with the roaming rumor that Apple is in the midst of developing a new Flash technology for their cameras.
This new Flash technology is somewhat similar to the touch-and-zoom feature on the iPhone. It would allow the user to focus on different areas where the flash device allows users to change the focus to highlight less well-lit areas.
This would all depend of course on the flash lamps and how they would be armed with optical lens.
Potentially, a scene condition detector would be present for proper monitoring of light levels and to measure the distance of the objects from the camera.
This and a whole lot more are being studies to enhance image capturing capabilities. Now wouldn’t that be neat to have if you are to get the iPhone in the future?
