SpeakerCraft Shows Off the BoomTomb Subwoofers Meant for Outdoor Audio Listening

Audiophiles get a new lease on life as far as delivering deep and booming audio for their outdoor needs with the announcement of the BoomTomb subwoofers. These new subwoofers were made to compliment their Outdoor Elements, Ruckus and OG series speakers.

The BoomTomb subwoofers boast of an integrated 250 watt amp which can be connected via standard speaker cables. The woofers can be buried underground with only the port being exposed.

It consist of a poly/resin enclosure that houses a 10″ long throw woofer that is mounted with support in the center of the internal space. A hood covers the top of the port to protect the internal components from water and other debris.

The SpeakerCraft BoomTomb should be a dandy new addition for people who want more audio delivery for their various audio rendering and setup needs.

The BoomTomb is set to come out by the fourth quarter of 2010 with no official pricing for now.
