Roku Announces Three New HD Streaming Media Player Models Starting at $60

Roku adds three new HD streaming media players under its wing with the basic model priced starting at $60. The three models are the Roku HD, Roku XD and the Roku XDS.

The Roku HD model offers support for HD video in 720p while the Roku XD supports full HD in 1080p and comes with integrated wireless features.

The Roku XDS provides support for full HD video in 1080p as well but picks it up with a dual band wireless technology inside.

These Roku HD capable media players are 40% less than the price of the original Roku HD player which is priced at $100, giving customers potential access to limitless instant streaming entertainment choices.

They are practically the price of two Blu-ray discs in the market so you can imagine the benefits and cost-allocation benefits you get from them.

All the players will provide support for Netflix, Amazon video on demand, MLB.TV, Pandora while also having social media sharing support via Facebook and Flickr.

The Roku HD will cost $60, the Roku HD for $80 and the Roku XDS for $100.
