New HTC EVO 4G & HTC Droid Incredible Commercials Are Out to Inspire

HTC doesn’t have just one, but three different commercials for two of its flagship handsets in the USA, the HTC Droid Incredible available from Verizon and the HTC EVO 4G, available from Sprint.

It’s funny how all of these three new clips are available at the same time in the wild considering that Sprint and Verizon are important rivals in the mobile operator business. But I guess HTC doesn’t care that much about that competition since, at the end of the day, buying an HTC Droid Incredible or HTC EVO 4G means more money for the manufacturer so it doesn’t really matter what carriers wins.

The HTC Droid Incredible stars in two new clips, the 16-second “Forbidden Dance” (above) and the 17-second “Social Animal.” The first one shows the camera of the Incredible while the second one focuses on its sharing capabilities. Both ads are fun in their own way, and pretty-fast paced but that’s probably where the music plays it role.

The HTC EVO 4G
has only one new clip that happens to be 32-second long, about as long as the two HTC Droid Incredible ads together, so the EVO 4G gets about the same screen time. The ad is called “Do Anything” plays the same music and shows various features of the smartphone: HDMI connectivity, the phone’s stand, video recording capabilities the sharing capabilities and the Mobile Hotspot feature. The EVO 4G seems to be the phone that HTC tends to focus on, although buying the HTC Droid Incredible wouldn’t be a bad choice either.

The T-Mobile G2 is coming out soon and we’re definitely interested to see it in action in a similar commercial. After all the HTC G2, or Desire Z, is going to be the third major HTC Android smartphone available from one of the Big Four U.S. carriers. I wonder when AT&T will get its own HTC Android flagship device… maybe when the iPhone won’t be an exclusive AT&T deal?
