HTC Desire HD & HTC Desire Z Featured on Video as “The HTC Desire Family” [HTC Releases New Video of the Desire HD & Desire Z Dancing Together, “The HTC Desire Family”]
Today has been a busy day when it comes to new videos. We’ve just seen the HTC Droid Incredible and HTC EVO 4G star in new HTC ads and, earlier today, we saw the second take of the HP Slate Windows 7 tablet video review.

Since it’s the weekend and therefore more videos are definitely welcomed, we have a new short clip for you, coming, again, from HTC. This one shows us the latest Android smartphones to be released by the company, the HTC Desire HD and the HTC Desire Z.
The video, which happens to be 48 seconds long, shows the two smartphones “dancing” together and revealing some of their features although you’d have to be somewhat familiar with both phones to recognize them.
We have covered both handsets thoroughly since the 15 September London launch event, so if there’s anything you need to know about the HTC Desire HD and the HTC Desire Z then feel free to browse our pages.
In short, the HTC EVO 4G’s European, and international, version is the HTC Desire HD. Thus both phone share the #1 position in an official top of HTC Android handsets. The HTC Desire HD doesn’t have the 4G capabilities, but otherwise it comes with the same specs and features. The phone will be out in various markets soon although we’re still waiting for proper announcement from European, and international, carriers.
The HTC Desire Z is basically the T-Mobile G2 dressed in worldwide clothes. Depending on how you look at it, the G2 could be considered the #2 or #3 HTC Android phone out there, but, of course, there’s always the HTC Droid Incredible, the HTC Desire and the Google Nexus One battling for the same positions.
And since the whole video is entitled “The Desire Family” we’ll point you to the obvious blooper here, the HTC Desire is nowhere to be seen although who can blame HTC for wanting to sell these two babies to anyone shopping for new Android smartphones and not the original Desire. I guess it’s in with the new and out with the old, again.
