Free HTC Android (Windows Phone 7 Too?) Handsets to be Given on September 15 at Unofficial HTC Event
As you might very well be aware of, HTC is going to have a special event on September 15 in London during which the company will launch a bunch of new phones. And while that’s the official event for the press, HTC decided to offer its London-based fans an unofficial event/party on the same day during which some of the attendees will walk away with free HTC smartphones.

Here’s the official Facebook invite:
London, we are coming your way. We thought a party would be nice pick-me-up for the middle of your week. Come out and have an evening on us.
We will have food, drinks, music, and phones for you to enjoy. We will also have a few phones to give away to attendees!
If you are planning on coming, please RSVP to let us know.

So far over 300 people have already decided to attend this unofficial event/party so if you want the chance to win a hot HTC smartphone, then make up your mind! Attending the event doesn’t guarantee you’ll walk away with a brand new HTC device, as not everyone that’s coming is going to get one although that would definitely be a great PR stunt for HTC.
Speaking of HTC handsets, we’re definitely interested in what HTC will have on display on September 15. We’ll definitely cover the event for you, as we did with all major announcements this year, and we’ll tell you all there is to know about HTC’s upcoming smartphones.
Besides new Android devices, which will definitely be announced next week, HTC might also tell us a thing or two about the upcoming HTC Windows Phone 7 lineup and we’d also want to hear more about about HTC’s first Android/Chrome tablet.
