Garmin Shows Off nuLink! 1695 GPS

Garmin's nuLink! 1695 Goes For Upscale Users

You’ve got to hand it to Garmin for its relentless pursuit of the high-end market, and the nuLink! 1695 is definitely going after that market with guns blazing.

It’s packing a five inch touchscreen and a host of services that provide real-time traffic updates as well as the most up to date points of interest available. It’ll also connect to Google, which will give you access to current weather reports, fuel prices, flight times and updates (driving to the airport and discovering your flight is delayed, en route, will no doubt save thousands upon thousands of hours and headaches).

Now, it likely won’t surprise anyone that this level of functionality calls for a massive price tag–you’ll shell out $450 just to walk away with the device, and five bucks a month just to keep the lights on (metaphorically speaking, of course–that’s the cost for the data transmission) but if you do a lot of traveling (or if you’re a business traveler looking for a deduction) then the Garmin nuLink! 1695 might be exactly what you’re after.
