Tron: Evolution's Collector's Edition Looks Awesome
You’ve got to appericate a good Collector’s Edition SKU of a video game. Tron: Legacy the movie looks quite awesome (although I’m more excited about the Daft Punk soundtrack) and the folks at Disney are coming out with an equally awesome collector’s edition for the game.

The CE of Tron: Evolution comes with an awesome custom display case and the toy Light Cycle seen above. Not only does the Light Cycle neatly fit into the display case, but the display case also has a discreet little draw for the DVD box of the game.
The price is a little steep – $130 – for a video game and toy motorcycle, but it’s about on par with the high-end video game CE packs from popular franchises like Halo and Call of Duty. The game is coming out (both regular and CE editions) on December 7th, just a few days before the Tron: Legacy movie comes out.
We’re a little worried about the game, though. As many of our readers know, licensed games often aren’t exactly the best games out there. They’re improving, certainly (Batman: Arkham Asylum, hello?) but the developers certainly have a big hurdle to overcome. And it would be a pain to drop $130 on an awesome CE for an awful game.
Are you planning on picking up this awesome Collector’s Edition?
