Sony VPL-VW90ES 3D Home Projector at the IFA 2010

Sony Unveils the VPL-VW90ES 3D Home Projector for 3D Entertainment Options

Sony offers another interesting device over at the IFA 2010 in Berlin, Germany in the form of the Sony VPL-VW90ES 3D Home Projector. This means consumers can potentially enjoy some spunky larger displayed visuals with 3D support at that.

Hence, home bodies will be able to enjoy some 3D content right in their very own homes. But of course, you will need the usual 3D active shutter glasses to make it all work.

The Sony VPL-VW90ES 3D Home Projector comes with features that include an upgraded SXRD 240Hz Panel for “crosstalk” reduction, compatibility with 2D projection, a 150,000:1 contrast ratio and to Sony’s Advanced Iris 3 technology.

Other features include low fan noise, a customizable viewing experience which should blend in well with the area where it would be setup.

The Sony 3D projector will initially come out in Europe by November. There is no word of a US or international release for now.
