Sony MDR-EX1000 Earphones Invade Japan
Audiophiles based in Japan have something to look forward to, especially the ones who want some better private and personal listening endeavors.
Sony has announced that their new MDR-EX1000 earphones are all set to arrive in Japan by October 23 and will retail for about $735.
The Sony MDR-EX1000 earphones come with sensitivities of of 108dB/mW, as well as a bandwidth reproduction of 3-30,000Hz, impedance of 32 Ohms and 16mm drivers.
The earphones are made with a liquid crystalline polymer film and promise to be more rigid than a standard diaphragm, resulting in crisp and precise sound.
Impressive features which should take the audio quality level of consumers to the next level, the $735 does seem a bit steep.
Considering these are just headphones, it does typify how much a person would have to spend if you really want something as qualitative as the Sony MDR-EX1000 earphones.
There is no word if these Sony earphones would be made available internationally but at that price, it seems unlikely to sell well.
