Panasonic Unveils New 31 and 19 Series Toughbooks

Panasonic Has Launched Two New Toughbook Models with the 31 and 19 Series Toughbooks in Japan

Panasonic has released two new rugged toughbook models with the 31 and 19 Series Toughbooks. They come in 13.1″ and 10.4″ models respectively and practically pack the same specs.

This includes a 160GB hard drive, about 6GB of DDR3 SDRAM and an Intel QM57 Express chipset. The displays offer a 1024 x 768 resolution and come loaded with a Windows 7 Professional.

The Toughbook 31 will come with a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 CPU while the Toughbook 19 Series will have a 1.2 GHZ processor.

Common features that these Panasonic Toughbooks carry include a Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, an HDMI slot, four USB ports, and an SD card slot.

And as you would guess, they are made of the rugged kind. This means that they are drop resistant and of course, waterproof.

No pricing has been bared although they are said to be available starting in mid-September in Japan.
