Panasonic Prototype G Series Micro Four Thirds Shooter Come to Berlin
Panasonic has unveiled a prototype of its G-Series Micro-Four-Thirds shooter which feature interchangeable 3D lens over at the IFA 2010 in Berlin, Germany.
While most are expecting these new lens to be compatible with Panasonic’s Lumix G micro system, this has yet to be made official by Panasonic itself.
To date, Panasonic has not mentioned which cams would be covered by the software update. The whole kit will be made official in the coming weeks with the new G-Series body playing host to new class of 3D lens.
But for the people who were able to catch a glimpse of the G2 body in Berlin, it had an updated 3D image processing system in tow.
The shooter was pretty much functional and even produced some reasonable 3D images which were displayed on a Panasonic 3D television.
With that in mind, the new kit does seem to be an interesting add, especially if you are one of the people leaning towards 3D images and display.
