Sharp to Unveil 3D Glassless Tablet Technology

Sharp is All Set to Unleash New 3D Glassless Tablet Technology for Glasslessness

With all the ruckus about 3D technology around, the next step is to perhaps determine which among the leading companies would take it to the next level.

And that next level happens to be “glassless” technology, something that Sharp intends to focus on.

If all goes well, Sharp will soon be unveiling glassless phones, tablets, and maybe even other handhelds that could very well have etched 3D marks on them.

The screens would have 800xRGBx480 as far as 2D is concerned and about 400xRGBx480 once 3D preference comes about.

The said prototypes will be housed in tablet-sized screens which measure 7 inches and maybe even smaller 3.5″ screens.

And so that is what Sharp has up its sleeves. Now before you go on lauding Sharp for this one, you can bet other companies like Apple are also planning something like this one.

Et al, it wouldn’t matter to us consumers. The best part is that we would all be having more options to choose from, not to mention more gadgets as well!
