Verizon Samsung Fascinate to Sell for $199.99 on Contract; to be Included in BOGA Promotion? [Samsung Fascinate Coming on September 9 Part of Verizon’s BOGA Promotion]
The Fascinate is the last Galaxy S model to come to U.S. customers and a new leak confirms the fact that the smartphone is coming next week. The date we’re seeing again in the leaked screenshot below is September 9, so the phone will definitely be made official at some point next week.

As expected, and as you can see in the image below, the Fascinate will sell for $199.99 with a two-year contract, but what’s most interesting about it is that the smartphone will be included in Verizon’s BOGA promotion. BOGA or buy-one-get-any will let you purchase not one but two Samsung Fascinate smartphones for the price of one, but both units will have to be bundled with new two-year contracts.

Considering that we’ve seen plenty of cheaper Galaxy S offers for U.S. customers (the Epic 4G, Vibrant and Captivate from Amazon) we’re not really surprised to see Verizon willing to offer the Fascinate for lower prices especially since Big Red is the last carrier of the Big Four to launch the Galaxy S in the USA.
The Epic 4G has started selling on August 31 and Sprint managed to sell quite a lot of units already, but the Epic 4G has certain advantages when compared to regular Galaxy S models like the Fascinate so it makes sense to see Verizon try to sell as many Fascinate units as possible in the near future.
Getting back to the Fascinate, since the screenshot above does say BOGA (buy-one-get-any) but not BOGO (buy-one-get-one), you can also bundle the device together with any other smartphone from Verizon’s lineup, which is great in case you’re buying various handsets for you and your family or friends. The only obvious downside here is that you’ll have to get not one, but two 2-year new contracts, but that’s the price to pay for a free handset. After all there’s nothing really free in life, and Verizon will want to still make some cash on every smartphone it sells.
