Apple Media Event: No CDMA iPhone 4, No 7-inch iPad, No 11.6-inch MacBook Air [Apple’s Music Media Event Came with iPods, iTunes 10 with Ping & Apple TV Only]

Apple’s music-centered media event is almost over folks and so far we’ve had plenty or music- and TV-related announcements. But there were plenty of other rumors concerning this event that didn’t came through.

Apple didn’t announce the new Verizon-bound CDMA iPhone 4 today, not that we’d expect them to include it in such a busy show. The CDMA iPhone 4 needs its own show, which will be probably performed later down the road.

The new 7-inch iPad, if it exists, wasn’t shown today so we’re going to see it at some point in January, aren’t we, Apple? The new tablet version starred in plenty of leaks and rumors, so, if it ever comes out, will have it’s own special show. We’ll probably see the new iPad versions be announced early next year, but until then, we’ll keep you updated on leaks and rumors.

Last, but not least, that rumored 11.6-inch MacBook Air, the next-gen MacBook Air, hasn’t been mentioned either so we’re probably going to see it the Air get refreshed without an official media event later this fall.

What Apple did announce though was the new iOS 4.1 and iOS 4.2, the new iPod shuffle, the new iPod nano 6G, the new iPod touch 4G, the new iTunes 10 with Ping and their hobby, Apple TV.
