T-Mobile G2 Breaks Cover As Rendered Images
It looks like we are being given another look at the yet to be released T-Mobile G2. Of course by yet another I am referring to both the in the wild style image that appeared last week as well as the leaked build that revealed those sweet looking Google Voice widgets.

With that, this latest round include three images, all of which are clear and nice to look at. In fact, the only real drawback is that these are rendered images. That aside, we are still able to spot one very interesting thing — a vanilla Android installation. Yup, as of now, and granted this could still change, but the G2 does not appear to have any fancy skin on top. Nonetheless, some of the early rumors have suggested the HTC Sense UI will be included.
In addition the keyboard seems pretty nice. Of course, without actually going hands on that is fairly impossible to say with any real accuracy. But back to the vanilla install of Android. Can you say new Nexus One. Well, maybe that is stretching it a bit far.
Otherwise, we are looking to have, or at least the rumors are calling for a September 29th release. In terms of specs, for the most part these are still not officially confirmed, however the G2 should come packing a 3.7 inch Active Matrix OLED display, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot.
And while we sit back and hope the September 29th release date is accurate, we will keep an eye out for more G2 leaks. That or, we can hope T-Mobile will cofficially unveil something sooner rather than later. Personally though, not being a T-Mobile user I am more looking forward to those Google Voice widgets getting a proper release.
