Samsung Mobile To Officially Unveil Media Hub & "Latest Android-powered device" On September 16th
It looks like Android fans have yet another date to look forward to — September 16th. The event is from Samsung Mobile who are promising a few things, but perhaps the one we are most interested in has to do with Android.

The event is scheduled to take place in New York City on September 16th and as of now promises the official unveiling of Samsung’s Media Hub. That said, as per usual standards, the invitation is fairly light on actual details.
What we can tell you is that it reads as follows;
Save The Date!
Please join Samsung Mobile for the announcement of its latest Android-powered device and official unveling of Samsung’s Media Hub.
And that is about it. Well, aside from the place, date and time. Of course there is the mention of Samsung Galaxy S at the very bottom. But then again that is fairly normal for Samsung these days. After all, we have been hearing quite a bit about the Galaxy S lineup of Android smartphones.
Could this be something to do with Verizon and the Samsung Fascinate? Or maybe the Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet? Or better yet, how about both. That said, given all of the recent rumors pointing to a September 9th release for the Fascinate, we are lead to believe this event will not cover that. That said, time will tell and we will sit here anxiously awaiting the 16th and at the same time hoping to see the Tab officially released. And released with Verizon.
More interesting though, assuming for a moment that this event is Galaxy Tab related and it is announced for Verizon — how much will it end up costing. We know that the lowest priced iPad 3G is $629, but this could beat that price by quite a bit if it comes with a subsidy. Given that, what price point would you like to see. $199, $299, $399? I am hoping for $199 or lower, but then again I am on the cheap side.
