Bell Mobility Now Offering $50 or $75 Credits For New Messaging & Smartphone Activations

Buy A Smartphone or Messaging Phone With Bell Canada & Get $75 or $50 Back As An In-Store Credit

If you are located in Canada and looking to get a new smartphone or messaging phone you may want to consider checking out what Bell has to offer as you could be eligible to receive up to $75 back as an in-store credit.

The offer seems simple enough and is currently in effect and will run through September 16th. Basically, activate a new messaging phone and receive a $50 credit or activate a new smartphone and receive a $75 credit. Of course, by activate you are agreeing to a three-year commitment, which is the standard in Canada. Otherwise, the other catch is that you need to make the purchase in-store. That said, there is a wide variety of devices that are included in this offer.

The smartphones include the BlackBerry Bold 9700, Curve 3G, Curve 8530, Pearl 3G, Storm 2, the Motorola Dext and the Samsung Wave, Galaxy or Galaxy S as well as the Palm Pre. In terms of messaging phones, those include the Samsung Gravity touch, Entro, Impact and the LG Rumour 2 or Xenon.

This sounds like a fairly solid offer, especially when you consider that some of these smartphones are selling for less than $75. Take the Curve 3G and the Pearl 3G for example, these are both listed at $49.95. Not to mention the Curve 8530 for $24.95, and even the Bold 9700 which is priced higher at $99.95. Not bad. Or go crazy with the original Palm Pre, which sells for $0. Sure the Pre is older, but get that for free and have $75 to spend in-store sounds pretty good. That could be enough to add in a decent Bluetooth headset and/or car charger and still not have to shell out any money. Or spare the accessories and get the Bold 9700 for $24.95.

Bottom line, if you were considering a new phone activation, this may at least be worthy of a second look.
