Rugged Ricoh G700 Camera Comes Out

Ricoh Unveils a New Rugged Camera with the Ricoh G700

Ricoh has unveiled yet another camera, this time of the rugged kind. The latest camera offering is the Ricoh G700, a rugged looking camera which can deceivingly pass for a disposable camera.

The Ricoh G700 is a 12MP camera and comes with a 5X optical zoom, ISO 64-3200, and can capture 720p videos. And one of the most important facts about this camera is perhaps its ruggedness.

Though not really elaborated, the G700 can presumably be used underwater (5m deep) and withstand drops of up to 2M. It is dust and chemically sealed as well.

It has a rechargeable battery and alternatively allows owners to make use of AAA batteries should they be unable to recharge their camera.

The Ricoh G700 rugged camera does not have a definite release date and the same goes for the official pricing. Give it some time and for sure, the official detailed specs and corresponding details will be announced soon.
