Nikon Coolpix P7000 and D7000 DSLR Cameras Launching in September

The Nikon Coolpix P7000 is Set to Debut on September 8 While the D7000 Follows on the 15th

It looks like the rumored coming of the new Nikon Coolpix DSLR cameras have a definite date now. Reported earlier this month, the Nikon Coolpix P7000 will make its debut on September 8 while the Nikon Coolpix D7000 will follow on September 15.

The Nikon Coolpix D7000 will reportedly come out with two new lenses and a new Speedlight as well. The Nikon D7000 DSLR camera will feature a 100% viewfinder coverage and dual memory card slots, not much details bared for now.

On the other hand, the Nikon Coolpix P7000 will boast of 10MP resolution, RAW shooting capabilities, 720p video shooting, a 28-200mm equivalent zoom lens and a 3″ LCD screen.

The Nikon Coolpix P7000 will be succeeding the Nikon D90, promising to improve on the latter’s known features and capabilities.

With September just around the corner, let us see what these two new cameras have to offer.

You didn’t get this info (about the new Nikon cameras) quite right.

      A) the D7000 is NOT a coolpix.
      b) the ‘coolpix P7000′ is not the successor of the D90.

You might want to revise this since thousands of people are now browsing every bit of info they can find about those two camera.
