Microsoft Top Brass Suing Google, Apple, Etc. for Patent Infringement

Microsoft Co-Founder Paul Allen Seeks Damages from Top Names for Gross Patent Violations

And so the patent quarrels continue. This time around, it is Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen making the headlines as he reportedly plans to sue Google, Apple, Faceboo, eBay, AOL and NetFlix for gross patent violations.

Let us make it shorter; he is suing the top business names you can find on the Internet!

Allen is fighting for four important patents which he claims Microsoft developed several years back. He believes that most of these are now in use for e-commerce and online activities in general.

These include how related stories are provided after you read a particular article and search engines suggesting material you check based on your previous searches.

The other two patents are those that allow ad placements and links next to an item that’s being viewed.

For now, these are the general details of what Paul Allen is fighting for and who would have ever thought they were under Microsoft’s tutelage eh?

The whole thing seems kind of broad for now so let us wait for more in-depth details on what Mr. Allen is really after.
