With the Copperhead 3050, journalists can now capture HD video paired with pristine audio at over thousands of feet of lightweight and inexpensive tactical fiber cable.
The compact CopperHead 3050 Camera unit sandwiches instantly between the camera and professional battery system while the 1RU base station is mounted on a truck or news team vehicle.
The system can deliver uncompressed HD video and broadcast-quality audio from the said camera, returning off-air video, intercom, and a powered IFB feed for the reporter that works with a standard IFB belt pack.
Additionally, it also features a 10/100 Ethernet connection which provides reporters a reliable high-speed connection to their new vehicle which can also be routed to their respective newsrooms or via the Internet.
