Samsung Epic 4G Available for $199.99 on Contract from Amazon
If you’re not excited to pre-order a Samsung Fascinate from Best Buy these days then we have another interesting Samsung Galaxy S offer you can’t refuse. Amazon, after offering you first the Vibrant, then the Captivate for just 1 penny is now ready to slash $50 off of the regular price of the Epic 4G.

The Samsung Epic 4G is the best Galaxy S version available out there when it comes to specs and features, and I told you that a bunch of times. The phone will be available starting August 31 from Sprint for $249.99 with a two-year contract. While the phone does bring to the table a few extra features when compared to the Vibrant, the Captivate or the Fascinate, I still don’t think they’re worth the extra $50.
And apparently neither does Amazon, which has the same phone listed for $199.99, but you’ll still be required to get the mandatory 2-year new contract from Sprint.
In case you have already pre-ordered your Epic 4G then you’ll probably be disappointed to see Amazon sell it for less, but in case you weren’t sure whether it’s worth paying the extra $50 for this Galaxy S model, then you should probably go for this Epic 4G offer.
The phone will come with the same specs and features you’ve seen on the other Galaxy S versions in the USA, and it will add to them some 4G WiMAX connectivity, where available, a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard and video calling capabilities, just like the HTC EVO 4G or the iPhone 4 have.
Amazon is well known for selling smartphones for a lot less than their regular subsidized price, so it might be a good idea to buy now. Although, on the same thought, in just a few weeks we might see the price of the Epic 4G and Fascinate drop a lot more, and even if the Epic 4G won’t be available for just a penny, Amazon might sell it for a lot less than $199.99.
